After a stint as a Proof Reader for the Los Angeles Times I took a job as a Dedicated Search Engine Optimization Analyist for a company that builds car dealer websites. It was a perfect fit because not only did I love SEO but I love cars even more. The knowledge I learned from optimizing site after site was priceless. I got to see the precess of taking a website with ZERO optimization and growing it week after week till we had the desired search engine rankings. It was common for me to optimize a new website from the ground an make it rank at or near the top for its targeted keywords. The clients were all very satisfied with their results and I had more work than I could handle alone. Not only did my company grow during the worst recent economical environment in awhile, but the SEO department became one of the largest deparments in the company and I was at the center.
